I founded a grassroots anti-trafficking nonprofit in 2007 and served as Executive Director for almost 10 years. I grew the organization from a start up to a staff of 14. I have personally coached and executed fundraising strategies for several ministries in recent years, resulting in $3.5 million + raised. I get your world! Nonprofit work can be thrilling and very fulfilling. It can also be extremely difficult and tiresome. You are constantly pouring yourself out to serve others. Managing the annual budget and fundraising responsibilities can weigh heavy on you. Directing the staff, volunteers and guiding your board can be daunting.
